In order for the traffic stream to receive information about the traffic from the road, it must be linked to detectors or message points. This is done by assigning the logical vs | plus detectors to a traffic stream. Several logical inputs can be assigned to a traffic stream. Depending on whether it is a detector or message point, additional parameters can be set.

Assignment to traffic stream |
Each detector/message point must be assigned to a traffic stream. In PT and IT, a detector can be assigned to several traffic streams with different properties. |

Position |
Detector position in sequence |
Sequence in which the detectors/message points are traversed. This sequence is specified with the overrun position of a message point or detector. Must be set for message points (PT traffic streams). For IT detectors, the order of vs | plus is set. |

Distance |
Distance to stop line |
Defines the distance of the detector to the hold bar but is currently not used in vs | plus. |

Counting point |
Counting point (Zählstelle) |
Counting point |
Used for open vs | plus. It can be defined whether a detector should be used for counting vehicles or not. |

Used as a counting point. |

Not used. |

Call_mode |
Request mode |
The storage of requests by the PT module in the actual PT memory is possible both for radio telegrams and for conventional detector requests. The request type is used to specify whether a request is made serially with telegram or in parallel via the normal detector inputs. |

Parallel |
The message point is parallel. |
Serial |
The message point is serial. |
VA Bearbeitung |
The message point is sent via open vs | plus. |
Entry |
Entry in PT memory |
For message points that affect multiple traffic streams, an entry is made in the PT memory. This entry can be locked if it is not desired. If the logout is locked, no forced counting is entered either. For parameter groups without logoff, the forced count is only entered if a pseudo logoff point is parameterized, and the entry is not locked. |

Entry yes |
The message point is entered into the PT archive. |

Entry no |
Will not be entered. |
