Regardless of which of the two tools is used for vs | plus parametrisation, the workflow and the function of the parameters are the same.
A distinction is made between the following use cases for vs | plus parametrisation.
- Creating a parametrisation for a new intersection: In such a case, the basic data must first be created. Once these have been definitively defined, the vs | plus parametrisation can be started.
- Adjusting an existing supply (e.g. adjusting the green times): The corresponding parameter can be changed and tested.
- Adapt an existing supply with new or removed elements (e.g. new or removed signal groups): Here too, the basic data must first be adapted to the new circumstances. The changes in the basic data must be transferred to the vs | plus base objects.
