The static dimensioning recognises the following options:

  • Static dimensioning by traffic stream
    • Traffic stream wise static rating "TSstat": Standard behaviour

A traffic stream can only actively extend once per green phase. If all loops stop measuring, i.e. there is no traffic, the system is cancelled at the next point in time, even if there is traffic again.

In contrast to "DETstat", the switch-off only takes place when all loops are no longer measuring.

    • Traffic stream wise static rating in the presence of conflicting frame signal "TSstat at SFconf":

This extension detection is a combination of static and dynamic dimensioning: As long as no conflicting frame signal is present, the dynamic dimensioning applies (temporary gaps are ignored). As soon as a conflicting frame signal is present, static dimensioning applies (dimensioning is switched off after the first gap). This ultimately means that dimensioning only begins when a conflicting frame signal is present.

The measurement is then switched off when no more loops are measuring.

    • Traffic stream wise static rating in the presence of conflicting frame signal and demand "TSstat at ConfCall"

This extension identifier is a combination of static and dynamic dimensioning: As long as no conflicting frame signal is present, dynamic dimensioning applies (temporary gaps are ignored). As soon as a conflicting frame signal and a conflicting call (twdet greater than zero) are present, static design applies (design is switched off after the first gap). This ultimately means that dimensioning only begins when a conflicting request is received.

The measurement is then switched off when no more loops are measuring.

  • Static dimensioning by detector
    • Loop wise static rating "DETstat"

A traffic stream can only actively extend once per green phase. Once all loops are no longer measuring, i.e. there is no traffic, it is cancelled at the next point in time, even if there is traffic again.

In contrast to " TSstat ", the switch-off takes place loop by loop.

As soon as a conflicting frame signal is present, static dimensioning applies (dimensioning is switched off after the first gap). This ultimately means that the measurement only starts when a conflicting frame signal is present.

The measurement is then switched off when all loops are no longer measuring. Switch-off takes place loop by loop.
