The PT prioritisation module decides what to do with requested PTs. The following questions arise:
- How to prioritise the requested PT?
- Which PTs are to be considered in the event of a simultaneous conflicting PT requirement?
- Is a PT to be prioritised immediately with a simultaneous friendly PT request?
- How to treat a follow-up train?
The result of the PT prioritisation module is, on the one hand, an identifier that indicates in which priority class a PT is to be considered and, on the other hand, a ranking list of all requested PTs. The PTs are considered according to this ranking. It is essential that only friendly PT traffic streams and not competing ones can be prioritised according to this ranking.
