A vs | plus assistant is integrated in vs | studio. It generates a complete, functioning vs | plus parameterisation from an existing supply of basic data.

The basic data can be entered directly in vs | studio or an OIVD file can be imported. After starting the wizard, the existing data is checked for errors and whether everything required is present. In addition to entering the basic data, a few more questions need to be answered. The following must be answered for individual transport:

How do the detectors extend and request in the main and secondary directions?

  • How long do pedestrians get the green light?
  • How much traffic dependency does private transport have in the individual programmes?

Questions about public transport, if available, must also be answered.

  • Is public transport favoured over private transport or not?
  • How are buses and trams prioritised?
  • How strong is the traffic actuation for public transport?

Depending on the existing licence, the vs | plus version to be used must be defined. The vs | plus parameterisation created with this information can then be tested in the integrated test bench or exported.
