Traffic stream in zone "Advance"
Advance means that the current stage is ended prematurely in favour of a cross stage. This action can only be triggered by a PT in the " Advance" area. The traffic stream status "traffic stream in advance area" can be assigned by message points of the "ASCPTxx" function depending on the preparation time parameter and the frame signal plan.
Depending on the traffic stream status "Traffic stream in phase advance", all requested, conflicting traffic streams that have an "advance area" frame signal at the current cycle second or are in the "request area" are checked. An advance stage for these traffic streams is permitted if the traffic stream in question can be switched on before the expected arrival second with at least the minimum green time 2, while maintaining the required transition time (intergreen times and offset times). The traffic stream-dependent transition duration between the traffic streams is self-learning, taking into account the intergreen times and offsets. vs | plus thus maintains a transition matrix that contains the largest transition duration that has occurred between the individual traffic streams. Preferential traffic streams always cancel the conflicting ones after the minimum green time 2!
