In the last step, all traffic streams that are to be switched to green have been found. This also means that the conflicting traffic streams that are currently green must be switched to red. In vs | plus, these red and green commands of the traffic streams are now converted into switching commands of the signals in the control unit. The most important parameter for this is the intergreen time matrix of the display elements. This matrix is used to calculate the switching times of the individual elements and transmit them to the control unit at the correct time. Offsets are also taken into account if they are parameterised.

A small addendum to the intergreen times of the display elements. The values used in this matrix must be equal to or greater than those in the control unit. The same applies to the conflicts. There can be more conflicts in vs | plus than in the control unit. From these conditions, the intergreen times can be supplied in the control unit, which makes a calculation from the standards mandatory. At the vs | plus level, the intergreen times can be assigned according to traffic-related aspects.
