Lines and routes:

The parameters are analysed as follows:

  • If the parameter Line 1 is set to "all lines" and Route 1 is set to "all routes", then no line and route evaluation takes place for this parameter group.
  • If only the Line parameter is not equal to "all lines" and the Route parameter is equal to "all routes" (in the same position (1 to n)), then all PT vehicles with the specified line will log on or off, regardless of which route number they have.
  • If only the Route parameter is not equal to "all routes" and the Line parameter is equal to "all lines" (in the same position (1 to n)), then all PT vehicles with the specified route will log on or off, regardless of which line number they have.
  • If both the line parameter is not equal to "all lines" and the route parameter is not equal to "all routes" (at the same position (1 to n)), then only PT vehicles that match both the line number and the route number cause a log-on or log-off. The check is terminated as soon as the line and route at the same position (1 to n) are equal to "all lines / all routes". If a PT vehicle does not transmit a line and/or route number, the corresponding condition is considered to be fulfilled during the evaluation.

As of vs | plus version 6.2.1, it is possible to exclude lines and routes. If a negative value is entered for the line/route number, e.g. -27, this means that the line or route is excluded. All lines or routes other than e.g. 27 are analysed.

All lines and routes may either:

  • only exclusions (negative values) or
  • contain only inclusions (positive values)
