Partial intersection:
vs | plus can control up to three partial nodes. This allows different idle stage patterns to be switched. The "partial node" identifier is used to assign a traffic stream to vs | plus partial node no. 1, 2 or 3.
Preliminary state for idle stage:
There are no more calls in the stage before idle stage. However, the switched-on traffic streams still have traffic (dimensioning loops still active). You can use the "Pre-stage idle stage" parameter to set this:
- whether the green time is frozen (value = with freezing)
- or continue counting (value = without freezing).
In the event of freezing, the green time is kept at the value of the minimum green time 2 (tg min2).
Idle stage:
The idle stage setting is only activated if "idle stage according to definition" (IdleDEF) is set in the IDLE Pl x parameter in the programme definition. The idle stage is activated at the earliest when there are no more requests. The extension of traffic streams that do not belong to the idle stage is taken into account depending on the flags.
If there are only calls left on the traffic streams that are defined as a idle stage traffic streams and no more traffic streams that are green are extended, the system switches immediately. The system does not wait until the frame plan allows the new stage to be switched.
From vs | plus version 8.1.0: Opening traffic streams of a partial node that are in the idle stage check whether they have conflicting traffic streams at "remote" partial nodes that also want to open. If yes, the switching of the "local" traffic stream is cancelled and the "local" partial node is kept in the preliminary stage.

There are no more registrations in the stage before the idle image. However, the switched-on traffic streams still have traffic (design loops still active). In case of freezing, the green timer is kept at the value of the minimum green time 2 (tg min2). |

The idle screen definition can be used to determine an idle screen. The idle image is activated at the earliest when there are no more requests. The extension of traffic streams that do not belong to the idle image is observed depending on the identifier. |
