On August 21, 2021, the so-called “countdown traffic light” for pedestrians went into operation at Bahnhofplatz Bern (Switzerland). This countdown traffic light was our first product to go into operation as part of our developments in the area of prediction/switching time prediction.

The residual red indicator subsequently served as the basis for extending our forecast quality and the entire algorithm. Under the name vs | edge, we have been developing further on this topic ever since.
